Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science at University of California Berkeley
I study mechanical engineering at UC Berkeley with a minor in electrical engineering and computer science. I am interested in the automotive and aerospace career fields. I can't wait to contribute to the engineering world!
Experience
Space Vector Corporation
Mechanical Engineering Intern
Aerospace company producing flight components such as batteries and GPS.
Performed FEA simulations using SolidWorks software.
Created 3D models and corresponding 2D engineering drawings.
Worked with SolidWorks PDM to develop tool databases for company products.
Sourced materials for desktop PCB mill, based off of the ANT Project.
Aerospace SAE at Berkeley
Fuselage Team Lead
Designed semi-monocoque fuselage for 2020 competition plane, performed truss vs semi-monocoque case study. Subsystem testing for structure, cargo door, and nose cone / motor mount.
Worked as a structures engineer in the 2019 competition plane. Designed truss structure and landing gear. Manufactured 2 fuselages and 1 wing.
Formula Electric at Berkeley
Structures/Ergonomics Engineer
Designing ergonomic space for driver accounting for field of vision, safety with 6-point harnesses, firewall implementation, vehicle exit, and overall driver comfort.
Built ergonomic test rig to account for 18 parameters while adhering to Formula SAE regulations.
Berkeley Hyperloop
Structures Engineer
Designing the aerodynamic shell and chassis structure using theoretical parameters as well as experimental data obtained from previous competition years.
3D modeling of shell and chassis structure using SolidWorks software.
